Namche Bazaar is known as the ‘Sherpa Capital’. It is the biggest town in the Khumbu region and is the main trading centre. It has many restaurants, cafés, museums, medical centres and markets. (Bindloss, J., Holden, T., and Mayhew, B. 2009:395)
